Fuck Cancer.
It’s been a hell of a day. And I needed to say those two words. Sometimes my job is hard, and people I work with, and come to really care about in a very brief span of time, take leave of this place. And it sucks, big time.

I ground some coffee beans into a delicious morning beverage today.
After hemming and hawing *forever* about it, I downloaded a free trial of Scrivener. I’m only working through the “tutorial” right now but I already love it.
I bought a proper panini pan last week to replace my electric one that was okay but an absolute bitch to keep clean.
I used said panini pan this morning...

Strangely Poetic
I work at a hospital, and basically when I’m there it’s like a big cave where the whole world continues turning and I am generally too busy to be able to take any notice of it. Until I get home, and then turn the world on by waking my computer from its sleep.

A little over an hour, after first getting list in the building. I always know how make an entrance, I guess. I think it went well, so am keeping my fingers crossed.
